Special requirements must be met for photo installations in leisure and adventure pools:

 

  • Aluminum housing according to DIN IP67 to protect the sensitive technology from penetrating chlorine vapors.

  • Special requirements regarding mechanical and electrical design must be met.

  • Camera positioning for consistently good image quality despite splashing water, fog and condensation

  • Personalization via RFID reader – integration of existing media (at the slide start as well as at the terminal or checkout)

  • Bidirectional communication via XML interface to the existing billing/POS system

  • Time measurement with inclusion in the photo and/or display on a scoreboard

 

We have already been able to implement all of this in various projects, thus eliminating delays in the project progress and failures in long-term operation.

Social media for more awareness and visitors to the slide paradise:

The social media installation with an on-ride camera in the Green Viper slide generates awareness, enhances the brand image, and fosters customer loyalty online and on social media. The camera and flash are housed in a special attachment within the slide and are reliably triggered by a transparent light barrier after the guest activates the system at the slide's starting point using an RFID wristband for a user-defined time window. In the landing area, a interactive terminal allows guests, after re-logging in with their RFID wristband, to view their photo(s) and send them as an email greeting card or post them on Facebook – all without needing their smartphone. A second interactive terminal is located at the ticket counter outside the pool area. There, guests can print a receipt with a QR code, which they can use to download their photo online.
This increases brand awareness, image and brand loyalty for the operator.
